Pope Benedict is a cartoonist too?

In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, Osama bin Laden sends Europe an ultimatum to cease and desist from publishing cartoons. One man with a pen was capable of inciting the hordes to riot. Meanwhile, what was altered by those 50 murders? I guess, the pen is truly mightier.

Right to Bear Arms

Today’s Cato Institute article Fighting for Our Right to Bear Arms outlines the case currently before the Supreme Court. A Washington DC resident is challenging the district’s ban on all functional firearms for self-defense. We may not see a decision until May. It is expected that a decision on this matter will either affirm an individual’s right to bear arms or the Second Amendment will effectively be expunged from the US Constitution.

All indications are that the court will uphold the appeals court ruling that the DC gun ban is unconstitutional.

Federal Govt decreases rates by 3/4%

Heather Mills settles for 50M

Since February 17, the $108M settlement fell through. Today, the settlement has been finalized at $50M. Apparently, Paul McCartney is only worth about half of what he was estimated to be worth.
